Scribbling for ‘Social’ Change!

July 27, 2009 • in the news

At Scribd, we believe that the written word is no longer static; the next major evolution of the “print” medium will be social and readers will contribute to authors’ never-finished works that evolve over time.

To kick-start this evolution, we’ve launched new social publishing pages on Scribd — fun features that make it easy for you to instantly share what you’re reading and publishing with Scribd’s community. Scribble about your reading list, newly uploaded documents or updates you’ve made to a previous work.

The full set of features will be available over the next several weeks but we wanted to give you a sneak peak at your new home and profile pages.

Get started by following some interesting Scribd users! Recommend a recipe, comment on someone’s presentation, add travel guides to your summer reading list. Whatever it is, try it out and get more social on Scribd. Enjoy, and look for more fun features in the coming weeks!
