It’s no secret that us Scribders have a bit of a reading addiction. There are few tasks we wouldn’t prefer to replace with a great book.  And that’s a big part of why we love audiobooks so much – even when our eyes and hands are (foolishly) occupied with other activities, we can continue to enjoy great stories or learn something new about the world.  So, for all our fellow multi-tasking readers out there, we’ve collected some of our favorite books to listen to while we accomplish something else. Every Monday for the rest of the summer, swing by the Scribd blog to find our favorite books that enhance other tasks (or provide much-needed distraction from them). So whether you’re running on a treadmill or running late to work, you can be confident that you’ll have something great to listen to.

To kick off Summer Listens, we’ve pulled our favorite books to help us get through our least favorite part of the day: our commute. Whether you’re looking for an absorbing thriller to take your mind off the traffic or some inspiration before you tackle that big meeting, we think you’ll find the perfect book here.
