We've been on something of a tear lately, adding great new books left and right (including comics and graphic novels!). We recently passed the one million title mark (queue cheers, fanfare, etc) and now seemed like a good time to take a breather and recognize a few of our favorite recent arrivals. Over the last few weeks, we've added titles from some of our all-time favorite small and independent publishers, including New York Review Books, McSweeney'sCounterpointTin House Books, and Columbia University Press. New York Review Books

McSweeney's is a small but mighty press based in our hometown of San Francisco. Based in Berkeley, Counterpoint is an author-driven publisher celebrated for finding fresh and daring voices in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, graphic novels, and more. Tin House Books

Columbia University Press
