Senator Calls Trump Tweet a ‘Sexist Smear’

Earlier this week Sen. Kristen Gillibrand called on President Trump to resign over sexual misconduct allegations. Trump responded on Tuesday, tweeting that the New York Democrat was “someone who would come to my office ‘begging’ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them).’” Gillibrand called the tweet a “sexist smear attempting to silence my voice.” Read the story from The AP.
