HarperCollins Partners with Scribd to Launch Veronica Roth’s ‘The Fates Divide.’
Scribd is the only reading subscription service to receive the ebook on launch day.
After a longstanding relationship with Scribd, the premier reading subscription service that brings books, audiobooks, and magazines to subscribers, publisher HarperCollins has released The Fates Divide, the second book in bestselling author Veronica Roth’s Carve the Mark series, as a day-one release in ebook and audiobook format on the platform. Scribd is the only digital subscription service to have the ebook on the day of launch, and the only unlimited audiobook service to carry the title.

In 2013, HarperCollins was the first “Big Five” publisher to offer its backlist ebook catalog on Scribd. In 2017, HarperCollins began offering select frontlist titles to Scribd, and that success has paved the way for the Carve the Mark promotion.
